Welcome

My name is Tim Bryant, and I am a young journalist making his way in the world.

I am technically sound with experience in print, audio and video reporting, and am willing to relocate in order to follow my dream of being a successful reporter.

I firmly believe it is the role of the journalist in society to be the source of unfiltered information. I want to be that person in whom the community trusts to bring the truth to light.

However, I also believe the journalist needs to be sensitive to the community. He needs to gain and maintain the trust of the community in order to serve it effectively.

I am currently employed as the editor of the Barrhead Leader in Barrhead, Alta. I hope to make my time in Barrhead as educational as my time in Westlock was, and as enlightening as my previous experiences had been. As a reporter and photographer, I am continuing to hone my skills and news judgment, while experiencing and embracing life in small-town Western Canada.

I welcome the opportunity to continue to learn and evolve. I welcome the chance to show what I can do.
